Important question:

I've been suffering from writer's block for a while now. Obviously haven't posted anything on here for a while. Any ideas for me anyone?

Just write. I know it sounds too simple to work, but it's really the best advice I've ever heard. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. It doesn't have to be deep or amazing or poetic. It just has to be something. Given the season, write about a favorite holiday memory. Write about the last time you laughed so hard you couldn't breathe. Write about something that lights up your soul. Write about what you would name a puppy if you got one. Write about a trip you want to take. Write about what you think your life will be like in 60 years. Just write. Hope that helps friend. :)

I was confused and shocked to discover a post, here:)

You should definitely make a top-ten list of reasons to move to Northern California. I can help if you get stuck.

I tried going through the dictionary typing words I could substitute for the overworked word "said." I found six pages (so far) and it sparked a lot of ideas along the way.

I'm excited to know that you're writing again! I miss it for sure! I hope you get past writers block soon. And for the record I think most people are totally interested in anything you have to say, even if it is just what you would name a puppy if you had one. I'd actually be interested in knowing about the last time you laughed so hard you couldn't breathe. Take comfort in knowing that people want to know about even the random details of your life... you're awesome. and missed for the record
